Line 6 Bass POD?

Does anyone use this with the MPC to add live bass lines to there beats? I add a lot of live bass lines and i was looking into buying a Bass POD....has anyone used this module? How are the bass tones/effects? Is it worth buying to do hip hop bass lines (or are the tones basically for rock style music)??
