Sync MPC to SX plus Which Resolution?

Basically I have a live session with my drummer in SX which I have arranged multiple parts playing Midi Modules and VSTi.

I want to sync MPC to SX so I can record the MIDI parts in one go over multiple channels into the MPC sequences, which I will then use to play those parts Live.

1. Do I have to change the resolution on SX or MPC so that it will stay tight and in time.

2. When I hit Record on SX will it start record on MPC

3. Should I SYNC SX to MPC so when I hit PLAY REC on MPC, SX will start.

im not sure what you want to do. when i sync sx and mpc i use mtc 30fps and mmc. i use sx as the master. you can set it up under device sync setup I believe. set the mpc to receive mtc 30fps and mmc under the midi/sync screen (shift+9 i believe). then when you hit play or rec/play on the mpc it will wait for a start message from SX so when you hit play in sx both will play. oh, and make sure to set the same tempo on both the mpc and sx. also you will want to have like 2 empty bars (on each) at the very begining to allow for sync up.
