have an XP-60, and a single Fender Rhodes sample in the MPC2000XL. I just want to be able to play this Rhodes sample on the MIDI keyboard, as if I have that patch in the keyboard -- that's the whole point of MIDI, right?
I've tried for a few hours reading both manuals to make it so the sample is spread out across the full range of the XP-60 -- can anyone give me a quick checklist as to how to do this? there are endless pages of configurations on the XP-60 -- it's mind boggling. (as a warning, I do have all the cables hooked up correctly; I can make the MPC play sounds from the keyboard, just not in reverse)
