Hi, I'm new here, and i don't know if this is the ricght forum, so my question is, I have a protues 1000 and a midi-keyboard attached to ym MPC 2000xl. So how do I changeup the midi-chanels? Do i do it on the MPC, or on the keyboard or where?
Thanks

You change it on the MPC. I got a Roland JV 2080 and put it on MIDI (wish I had the MPC in front of me) . Just get your settings right and you'll be straight ( I think its MIDI 11A, try that one it should work.)

Using the mpc to change your midi channels you have access to 128 presets. Using your Proteus go into your master menu under your recieve menu make sure that all 16 of your channels are on. Now set up the 16 channels with the presets you want to use and there you have it. Just turn the MPC to the midi channel with the presets you want and that's that. Now if you should happen to change the midi preset using your MPC program change 00-127 you'll flip the settings you manually made on the Proteus and have to go back and reset it.
