I`m using Logic on my powerbook and i´m very satisfied with it. I use it for just for recording and mixing my beats from the MPC. I´m not using the sequencer. There is a special extension for Logic to integrate your Protools-Hardware into your Logic-Audio-Setup, it`s called PTHD Extension, here is some info `bout it from Emagic:
"With sampling rates of up to 192 kHz, dynamic resolution of up to 24 Bit, an audio track count of up to 128 tracks and a choice of high-resolutionaudio interfaces, Digidesign’s® Pro Tools® HD is the ultimate audio hardware for Logic Platinum 6 Mac OS.
The Emagic PTHD Extension connects Logic Platinum 6 and Pro Tools HD hardware to form a uniquely powerful system, providing not only superlative audio quality and generous I/O capabilities, but also – via Digidesign's TDM II – access to an ever-increasing number of exciting DSP plug-ins." So, you can use all your TDM Plugins from Protools in logic...
Hope this is enough Info....
