I'm looking for a product that'll allow me to cut the bass out of a sample and I've read that Mackie mixers have good hi-pass filters for doing this type of job. Does anyone here use a Mackie for this purpose? When I mean 'cut the bass out' I'm talking about sampling a loop (or whatever) that has bass and using the hi-pass to eliminate the bass but keep all the other instruments intact.
