I have a triton le and a Roland Juno connected separately to midi in / outs
a and b on the Mpc2000xl. This way each keyboard functions separately.

1. My main problem is that the Triton does not play back after I record into the mpc (i have the midi channels matching on the triton and mpc). My midi connections are midi out of Triton into Midi in of mpc then midi out of mpc to midi in of Triton.

I have not had this problem until i upgraded my operating system of the Triton le to 1.5 I think it's a problem with the triton internal set up.

Any clues???

Are you sure you've got the MIDI out assigned properly? If the Triton's on the A out and the Juno's on the B, make sure your Triton tracks are 1A, 2A, 3A... and your Juno's are 1B, 2B, 3B...

Is the MIDI filter somehow set wrong on the Triton? This should be located somewhere in Global mode. It might be that the Triton's ignoring MIDI note data.

Is the Juno still functioning fine?

In the MIDI Filter section, nothing should be checked, if it's the same as on my Karma. Set the MIDI channel to 01. Note Receive to All. These are the defaults but perhaps they got mixed up somehow?

If you never play the Triton standalone, you might as well disable Local Control On as this will result in echoed and out of phase notes when playing through the MPC. (the local control and the echo being broadcast from the MPC)

Any time you make changes to Global mode, be sure to save the settings either through the Utility menu or using the Write/Rec button (I'm assuming again it works just like on Karma, if not use that Utility menu)

Also, are you recording your sequences to MPC in Program, Combi or Seq mode on the Triton. I recomment Seq mode, as you can get more tracks, bring in the 4 Karma modules and setup a full effects bus and run it all through the master effects and EQ.

Good luck, and lemme know if it still doesn't work!
