Acid Pro 6? For Tracking

What do you think of acid pro 6 for tracking? Do you guys think its any good? Can you mix a song well in it. If anyone had it I wouldnt' mind hear what you think about it.

i tracked/mixed all of my cd in acid, and continue to use it as a DAW. great program, esp 6.0.

Well with a good ear, knowlegdge of levels, effects, ect.. you can do alot with that program.

Its not the actual program that makes the music sound good its the person.

I got some music i recorded along time ago on Audacity and a cheap ass sound card and it sounded like i was using Cool Edit or something. But all i did was use all the features offered and my knowledge of mixing. Didnt have monitors either and it came out good not off da chain but good enough to get some plays in the club or something.

SO think about it.

I use Acid Pro all the time to track out, and mix my stuff.. I love that program..Very easy to use, awesome looping capabilties, and now a multi tracker.. check my music on my myspace.. all mixed in the Acid..

Hmmmm...... Maybe I'll get the Acid Pro 6 and try it out. Thanx guys

I use acid pro 3.0 all the time to record. You just can't record track similtaniously. I downloaded the demo of 6.0 and it was very similar other wise. I wish i bought it over protools to be honest. But i usually use 3.0 for vocal recording and love it for that. It should defineatly work for you.
