MPC 1000 & Reason Midi Timing Issues

The problem I've been having is playing a melody in Reason and trying to record it in my MPC only to find out that once I play something back, it doesn't sound as precise as the way I laid it down. I've tried doing the Midi Sync were I record my melody in Reason and then press play in the MPC and everything lines up, but I'd rather record in my MPC b/c of the ease of sequencing.

So I guess my question is what do I have to do so that I can play something from Reason directly into my MPC and have it playback in time? Thanks for your help.

Sounds like to me you are having a Latency problem. Check your Audio Buffer settings.

yeah this is def a latency issues. i'm gonna bounce it to studio environments. i had this problem before, you just gotta play with latency until it sounds better. now i have no problem.

also try and make sure you're running an ASIO in reason...
