Reason & 2000XL Limitations

i have Reason & a 2000XL running together but I can't get the 2000XL to record more than 1 Reason device on the MP

meaning when the Midi In icon is highlighted on a Device in Reason it plays on the 2000XL with no problem

but, when you try to use another Device (play another instrument)
no go

anyone making beats with the 2000XL & Reason with Multiple Devices (instruments)

if so, how do you pull this off mane

appreciate the help

(btw I still have yet to get a good audio interface where latency is not an issue and so all my Reason programming and sequencing is done completely within the software)

You have each device on the rack set to a different channel? Make sure to record each track on the MPC to a different, corresponding channel as well.

yeah, looks like I will be doing my programming through the software also
the way I figure out to pull off what i am trying to do is do a composition on Reason and Export Midi, Load the Midi file on the MP and set the corresponding channels

its working cool for me at this point

* I been lucky so for not to have the latency problems everyone is always talking about with the two

i heard the reason this occurs is because the type of soundcard you may be using


i have a regular ole soundblaster live and its working for me
