Setting the frame rate/ sync with mp7 command station

Ok, this isnt really a question for the MPC, but haw to get it to sync with the EMU command station. For some reason, both machines will not keep the same tempo. The EMU command station does not have a way to adjust the frame rate. When I set the mpc to be the master, and the emu the slave, the sounds will be in sync for a couple of measures, and then starts to train wreck. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I do not want the command station to be the master unit being that it is inferior in sequencing power.
