just curious. i've checked out a few people's beats on this board (dope stuff) and i just want to know what type of gear people go for after copping an MPC.

rarely use the rack of stuff cause they are too noisy, sometimes tho. getting ready to upgrade to a g4 1.25 with a digi 001, using protools in the g4 to handle most of the tracking, and digital performer in the laptop handling the midi and the waves plugins. i will hook the 828 and 001 up with optical adat and use the laptop as an external processor housing 4 stereo or 8 mono fx buses to insert on the channels of the protools mixer. i cant wait!

I bought my little brother a DR-5 and he never used it, I made a bangin beat with it and he still couldn't believe I made it with only that little machine. It can surprise you for real..
