Error at 0000:7A59

Just last night I was in the process of transferring some files and when I went to load this one All songs & sequences file I ran into a error prompt. The passage below is my inquire and the response I got back from Akaipro.com. What an answer! !

error prompt: Everytime I try to load up this particular All songs and Sequences file I get (Error at 0000:7a59) can someone explain to me why this is happening and how to prevent it from happening in the future. I'm using the MPC 2000XL under the 1.14 O.S. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter


If this only happens with this file, I would guess the file is corrupt. If this is the case there is no way to avoid the problem. Best regards, Technical

Can anyone be more specific as to the definition of (Error at 0000: 7a59) As I still don't know exactly what it means. If it means corrupt file how does it become corrupt in the first place. I can't even load up individual sequences from the file without the error popping up. Oh yeah, All other external midi devices are not connected.

I don't know what causes it, but every so often my machine crashes, and the beat is just lost...

I didn't lose anything important to me , I just figured I'd look deeper into the matter. Before I only had this problem only when I tried to save and my midi controller was plugged in, and even then it wasn't a frequent thing. I just wanted to know more detail. The more you know about a problem the least likely you'll have that problem again in the future. I've had my fair share of crashes but my thing is Akai programed it to post that message to identify the specific nature of the crash. So why couldn't they say this error means". . . . . ." that's my only issue!
So again what does (Error at 0000: 7A59) mean? Anybody know?

i think it's giving the point where the error occord...midi point that is...


...that A059 may be the problem midi signal...


...cause you can scroll thru the code...I'm not sure if there's a fix for it though
