If I understand your question correctly, you'll need midi cables in order to sync up Cubase and the MPC. To make Cubase the master device and the MPC the slave device, hook the midi cable to the midi
out of your soundcard and into the midi
in of your MPC (input 1 or 2). On the MPC, hit shift + 9, select your input, and change mode to midi clock. I'm not familiar with Cubase, but I'm sure you have to set it to send a midi signal (I use Sonar and I have to select options>project>midi out, then select transmit). I'm sure Cubase has a help section that explains how to hook up midi devices. If you want the MPC as master and Cubase as slave, hook the midi cable to the midi out of your MPC (A or B) and into the midi in of your soundcard. Go to your midi/sync screen on the MPC and select the output you put your midi cable in. As for Cubase, find the help topic that explains how to receive midi signals. I hope this info helps.
