Buzz when recording from mpc to pc!!!

i keep getting an annoying ringing sound under whatever i am recording from the mpc to the pc...before everything was cool, but i am now getting this..any suggestions on how to get rid of the ring???

what are you using to record into the pc?????

i am using an m audio soundcard...i have a cord coming from the mpc to the soundcard and then to the pc, i record in cool edit pro

It could be a crappy cable...peace

troubleshootin that is just a matter of process of elimination

i saw a sound recording issue pop up a couple of months
ago and i resolved the problem by re-installing the drivers
(software) for my soundcard

i recently installed a program on the computer that corrupted it
after the re-install my recordings were clear again

before attempting to un-install any drivers make sure you got
a copy on hand to do the re installation

Ive had to do that before, it totally sux. But, Ive got backup disks like you mentioned though ...peace
