Zip Disk problem...

Zip Disk problem...

I searched thru 14 pages, and couldn't find this problem...



I've got an external zip hooked up...the MP recognizes the drive, but the available space on the disk shows 0.0...the disk is brand new...

can anybody tell me why this is doing this...I'm bout to junk this bullsh*t drive, I'm sick of it already

Try formatting the disk

I tried, but everytime I hit "do it"...my MP crashes

What is your OS? What kind of Zip and Capacity?

it's an Iomega Zip 100...the disk isn't Iomega though...don't know if that makes a difference


...my OS? I'm not sure...I got my MP about 3 years ago

did you try hooking up your zip drive on your PC and then trying to format your zip disk from your PC ?

Maybe you should reload the OS.
