Just out of curiosity how do most producers track their music. I don't think that they bring all of their equipment to the studio that they track at. On futureproducers.com one guy said that he was engineer and that he mixed and recorder some tracks for Just blaze and bink, and said that Just blaze uses a MPC-4000 and many sound modules. I can't picture all of these producers bringing their equipment to the studio for tracking. I know that Jermaine Dupri and Dr. dre have production studios in the same studio as there recording studio but i was wondering about these other producers? I hope this clear enough!

Maybe they choose studios with the same equipment and just bring their disk in..

Maybe save each track to CD and take that with them.

Recording studios also have companies that rent out equipment to them. So if XYZ producer needs this module and it is not owned by the recording studio; they rent it out and charge the label, artist or producer for it.

Uno/1

gams

Lampdog hit it on the money, If it was you and you were out of town tracking stuff and you could not take your gear with you, you would hit a studio that has the same type of stuff you have......I know I would
