tracking using my 8 outs

IF I USE MY ROLAND FANTOM AS A SOUND MODULE TO PULL SOUNDS AND MY MPCXL TO RECORD AND SEQUENCE. HOW DO I USE MY 8 OUTS
TO TRACK MY SONG OR CAN I USE MY 8 OUTS. PLEAS GIVE ME SOME STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS. :D

in order for you to use the 8 outs you have to have sounds in the mpcxl it sounds as if you are using it to record midi an if that is the case then the music is not coming from the mp its coming from the roland

yes that is exactly what i am doing. and by the sound of what you have already said i might need to track my sounds from the fantoms 4 outs. thanks for the help so far. i just need a little moore info. :)
