They are definately worth the money you pay for them. They used to be about $400. They have been marked down at most stores for $299. You can see some reviews on zzounds.com or sonicstate.com.

have u seen the m-audio bx5 monitors? there great for the cash, same price as truth, there also self powered, i dont know if truths are or not.

i wanted the bx5s but i am going to be workin on a big project soon and i need them soon. Anywhere i look, they dont have them in stock so imma have to go with the truth monitors unless i hear that they suck form a decent amount of people.

You need to hear them for yourself....Thats the best way....Bring Some of your fav' CDs and pop to the shop.

You cant really afford to leave that kinda thing down to hear-say.... Someone might swear by them but how do we know they can actually mix down tracks properly

I gotta agree with Bravo on this one, my boy has those yamaha NS10's and they sound like a clock radio to me... I hate them...

i'll only mess with Mackies or Genelecs.....they cost a grip but damn they do sound accurate and they dont colour the sound and they last a long time too........another thing is to make sure you have your monitors set up right so that you can get the most from your mix.....most people dont realize that something as small as placement can affect how you hear your mix.......

I own them. To tell you the truth (no pun intended) theyre decent speakers for the money. There are definitely a lot of better monitors out there, but there are also a lot worse. Reviews for monitors are very subjective.

i ended up gettin the truth monitors after i went to guitar center and heard them. slipped in the black album and liked what i was hearin.

best bang for your buck and it doesnt sound bad at all.... Just make sure you turn down the bass a lil.
