Akai sound modules

I came across these sound modules. Anyone know much bout these? I was considering getting one of them. I see theres 2 diffrent models...EWI3020M Analog Module for EWI....and EWI3030M Digital Module for EWI. Whats the diffrence between the two? and what is EWI? Would one of these work good with a 2000xl or would it be a good idea to cop a midi controller?

The EWI is 'Electronic Wind Instrument" (and EVI is 'Electronic Valve Instrument' I think) - basically MIDI controllers designed as wind instruments rather than your more traditional keyboard. So really depends what your skills on the oboe are like as to whether they're for you. I don't know what they sound like mind but they seem to be pretty specialist gear.
