digi001(protools) Mo Phatt and MPC users, please help

Check it people!

I have the DIGI001 with 8 in/outs, Mo Phatt and MPC 2000 (w/8outs)
Problem:

I only have 8/ins, and I need more 1/4 inputs. Is there a connector I can get to plug my MPC2000 8 outs into with out using all my inputs on the digi001???

One last problem... My inputs on my DIGI001 (input 3 and 4) don't put out sound, is there a way to check to see if I may have accidently turned those inputs off???

You can get a AD converter and hook it up to the adat lightpipe and get an extra 8 analog ins and outs totaling 16 ins and outs- in addition you can also hook something into the S/pdif to have a total of 18 ins and outs. You can use a patchbay and reconfig. as needed, or you can get a mixer.

Are you getting a signal? Shake the faders on the screen sometimes they get screwy if you solo tracks that aren't recorded yet. If that doesn't work, get into the screen where you set up your audio ins and outs, and hit default.

Yeah. Frontier's Tango24 would probably do the trick. It's clean and somewhat better than the 001. I've been fiending for one for a while. I had a similar problem, but I have a Yamaha 01V digital mixer. It has the lightpipe connection and serves as another A/D convertor as well as a mixer.

Yeah. You can record to separate tracks, you just assign your input tracks in the PTLE Mix Window.
