How to integrate the MPC and a DAW

I'm in the market for an MPC but curious as to how it will integrate with my DAW full of soft studios and softsynths? Also, since the MPC's sequencer is so highly touted when does one stop using the MPC sequencer and use the computer sequencer? Would one be drastically underused?

With a full on Software based DAW you might not need a MPC, if you have a sampler like Halion, your Daw with that much power would kill a MPC and leave it lying in the gutter gasping for air...

But, the MPC has 'dem PADS' which are known to be super cool for hitting out beats....As you have an advanced DAW I assume you are pretty advanced with MIDI so you know that you could SYNC or transfer MIDI from the MPC to your PC thats it.... You might also benefit if you hate staring at a Screen for hours on end or if you, like me, get sick of a mouse and think its better to have a hardware mixing desk and a MPC for the immediacy and feel it brings to your music....
