mpc as midi controller for g4 powerbook

I wonder if anybody is using the mpc as a midi controller for programs on a g4 powerbook, my interface is a rme hammerfall multiface. I about to check out ableton live, cubase sx, reason 2.5, logic platinum 6.2.1
I want to combine the mpc handling with the mac possibilities for live performances.
How can I do that?
