Is it right for my .wav files (3-6 minute songs) taking up to 30MB space a piece..? For instace, if I take a track from a cd and convert it to .wav on my pc, should 3-6 minutes of music take up 30MB...? I'm confused, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

yes.. that's normal.. If you have a song and want to use it for listening, convert it to mp3.. it will compress the song down to 3mb..

If you want to break it down even more, staying in wav form of course re save it as a mono wave. Being that mono is half of stereo.
