I recently was told by a Roland support tech that the issue I was having with my keyboard was "Normal" and that it was supposed to do what it was doing. I told the cat that it just started to do this and he chopped it up and said "I guess you were just lucky all this time!"
Ok cool! Anyway I've been learning to cope with the new changes but I have noticed that my keyboard will onlly play patches that are tempo based correctly while the MPC is play. In other words I have to push play on the MPC and only then will certain patches on the fantom play back correctly. I figured it was because the fantom is using the MPC's midi clock to determine the patches tempo but before its would play them back correctly regardless if the MPC was playing or not. When the Fantom is put in midi slave mode the midi light indicator will now stay solid or turn off. Before it would blink while it was synced up and not playing. (For those of you who are familiar with the fantom) And once again my other keyboard which is a roland works fine. "Im switchin to a Motif or something Lol!"
