Hey, i've recently bought a 1000 and i plan on sampling from my dj mixer (vestax pmc-06) which is hooked up to my turntables (tech 1200s). I've learned that i can play the mpc through my mixer by hooking it up to the second channel (replacing one of my turntables), but there is still alot of distortion when i play the mpc through the mixer, i think i need a hum eliminator or something like that but is there anything i can do in the mean time before i get that? Also, my main problem is i can't figure out how to sample from the one turntable i have hooked up to the mixer to my MPC.
i have two 1/4 inch to RCA cables and two 1/4 inch on both sides. I was thinking I may need to hook up the MPC to the mixer with the 1/4 to RCA cables to the Line Out on the mixer, but im already using those wires to connect the MPC to the second channel on the mixer. Do i need to buy another set of those cables if i want to play the MPC through the mixer while sampling from the mixer at the same time?
I know i may have made it sound complicated but please let me know if you can help me with this problem. thanks alot
