HELP. getting OS 2.12 from AKAI PRO

I'm new to the forum and to the MPC.
I tried to download the zip file of OS 2.12 from Akai Pro.
I've got a Macbook with a working version of stuffit expander.
When I download the zip. file and open it, the file just turns to bin.
Usually my zip. files just automatically convert
Any help would be good. Thanks

The .bin file is what the MPC recognizes. You put the .bin file on the CF card, and the MPC will install that.
