6/8 beats on MPC1000 ?

I wanted to make a beat in 6/8 but as far as I can figure theres no way to get to 6/8 ?? I just did 3/4 and doubled the tempo but thats a pain in the ass is there a way to get it to do be in 6/8 that i'm missing ?

In the Tempo window, I remember, you just move the cursor down to the bottom line and turn the dial to select "8". (But I don't have my MPC1000 in front of me to test this now.)

PS: 3/4 = 6/8. The same length, divided up differently. You should not need to double the tempo...

wrd the dial doesn't go to 8, unless im doing something wrong

and while a 3/4 bar and 6/8 bar are the same length i wouldnt say theyre the same but i dont wana get into that..

I checked it out last night. I was wrong first time, all you do is:
- select the time sig, turn the dial up. Keep going up, past 10/4, 12/4... then the /8s start. 3/8... 6/8 .
- That's it!
