turn down volume of whole program and save?

Hi.

Is there any shortcut to turning down the levels for the whole program and not all individually?

I make backups of my programs on the computer (mac) so if i did then would it save the individual volume levels for all the pads?

actually, in akai os, you might be able to hold shift and turn them all down at once in MiXER mode. i forget. it's been since june, 2006

Yeah in the akai or jj os you can highlight a pad bank in the mixer mode by holding shift and the pad bank key.... you might as well get the free jjos though so you can adjust the entire program for any parameter.

I can't figure out how to do this on the akai os. I hold down shift and say pad bank a in mixer mode..then what?

Yeah, I've only had the mpc for 3 days now and I want to get more familiar with the akai os before I dive into jj.

thats cool. jj is so far ahead of the akai and itll be waiting for you when youre ready.

Don't even waste your time with the AKAI os. You'll want to do something and realize that you can't only to realize that the JJOS already has it. GPE (Global Program Edit), Grid Edit, "Program Whole" are just 3 of the dope features. Not to mention the chopping.

Just load the free JJ OS and go to town, son.
