Question:Programs from Hollowsun.com-How do you convert akp.

For the samples & akp files that accompany them from the Hollowsun website, how is it that you can import the samples with the programs so that these samples are set up ready to use? Or, is this even possible. Does the akp file need to be converted to a program file and then transfered over. I have the MPC1000 program creator but I can't seem to get them converted to usable PGM file for my MPC1000. Thanks

I don't think it's possible (at least not yet)...According to the website, Akai is supposedly working with hollowsun to translate the whole library to MPC1000.

Thanks. I hate to sound all wet behind the ears but I am. I don't really know this piece yet and I'm triing. If I may, let me ask you this:

So I'm dumping over wav files from the various Hollowsun folders, which alot of them go without a problem. Then I get "cannot copy jen based pedal: the directory or file cannot be created". It's a wav from Hollowsun. The specs are 16bit/44.1. , and it won't go to my CF card. Anything? Word!

I think there's a limit on the number of files that can go in a single folder...try creating different folders for each program you want to create.

Also...try NOT to use spaces, especially in folder names...the MPC doesn't like that so much.
