display screen problem

When I leave my mpc on for about 15 to 20 minutes the screen starts to get dark and unreadable. I've also noticed artifacts being burned into the display. I've had it about three weeks. Any one with the same problem. Starting to wish I had purchased the 2kxl.

Is it getting hot, too? I've heard of some getting hott (mine doesn't and I leave it on all the time), and that could cause an LCD to go weird. Either way, I've never heard of anyone else with this problem...you should exchange it.

that happens to me too, but i just always thought it was suppose to be like that, kind of like how screen savers are on computer monitors, maybe its a feature?? But just re-adjust to the screen - shift + turning the data wheel.

I don't think it should be doing that, mines never done that and I've had it on for long periods.

Have you guys changed the contrast? (shift-wheel)
