I/O ERROR?

I/O ERROR is the message i get when i try to open the mass storage card in my PC after i connect it to my MPC 1000 with a USB. It's driving me crazy because i can't add any sounds, samples, etc.... If you have any ideas of what might be causing this please let me know.

After i played with it a little bit i found out why it wasn't opening the storage room. i guess i had to format the memory card prior to adding or removing anything to it. works fine now!
