Briefcase/RSYNC usage

Anyone using Breifcase folders (windows) or RSYNC (Linux/OsX) to speed up CF card transactions?

I know windows briefcases make things easy, but they create a bunch of hidden files, and I just wondered how the MPC handled it. I'll screw with this tonight, but if you've got experience, please share.

I created some folders while transporting sounds from my PC to the MPC and I ran into some isuues. The folders where fine on the PC end but when I tried loading them up in the MPC I couldn't find some data that I stored in them while on my PC.

It got kind of confusing, if anyone knows about this let me know....
