problem sorta fixed

i got the mpc to play the xv5050 and i got the motif to play the xv5050 ( but the motifs voice has to be turned down or i hear both )

but i cant get the mpc to record anything i play

i know sumone gotta use a keyboard and module with the mpc

I assume your recording MIDI, not audio. Do you have cables connected from motif/xv5050 to MPC? MIDI cables go 1-way. And don't carry audio, only info about what notes are playing, etc.
