Using the MPC1000 as a sound module for electronic drums...?

Hi!

I was wondering if it is possible to use the MPC1000 as a sound module for my Roland V-Drums?

I am currently using an Elektron Machinedrum without any trouble, but I can not find any information on how to trigger the MPC with midi...

Yeah the MPC has full MIDI functionality in and out.
