Yo,
I've noticed my MPC-1000 has been doing something very odd recently.
On occasion it refuses to playback my recordings at the same rhythm I recorded them. For instance, I will continually tap one of the pads to produce a nice, continuous hi-hat rhythm but once the recording process has finished and playback begins, there will be uneven delays between the sounds, throwing the recording off rhythm.
I KNOW I am playing it to the rhythm. It sounds perfect when I'm recording but as soon as it plays back everything goes wrong.
I've tested this with different sounds and different pads and from best I can tell, it appears to be a very random problem that just happens to creep in on occasion.
Any ideas?
