So i got myself a keyboard..

Yo =)
Today i got a keyboard, borrow it from a friend.
I was wondering how i can use it in the best way. And how to hook it up.
as for now ive got a midi cable form the keyboard to my mpc.

I have du excuse myself again for asking these questions. ive allready told you that i bearaly understand advanced english writing so.. yeah. i hope somebody wants to help me even if this also is someting thats "gets asked once a week"

what kind of keyboard? is it just a controller or does it have sounds on it?

it does have sounds

i can get any software for windows so.. should i use qubase or someting?

its an old yamaha PSR-280
