I am new here and I just purchased an mpc 1000 from the pawn shop for 390.
I accidentally threw away the standard memory that came with it. Here is my problem, my mpc freezes when i insert the ultra II 2.0 gb cf card. It will not format and the whole unit freezes. The pins are not bent because the 32mb card works fine.
could this be a problem with the memory stick I just purchased from ebay? When I boot up, it shows 128mb. I changed from the JJ operating system to the akai v2 os and it still freezes. Not sure what to do next. Thanks for any insight.
