Note repeat

So, I have the MPC500 myself and I love it!!! of course its not as solid, feels more like a Gameboy than an actual MPC, whatever, the point is- I have the 500 pretty figured out and one of my favorite features is the Note repeat button. Just change the TC resolution and press that repeat button and it stutters your samples. I LOVE IT, now my question is- when Im at my boy's house- hes got the MPC1000- I tried setting the resolution and using the note repeat, but it seems its just a tad more complicated than that. How do i get it to work? thanx.

Note repeat is the same. If your using different samples it will sound different. Also it will sound different depending on if its set to 1/8, 1/16 etc.

the thing is- with the 500 all I would do is press note repeat and it does it, I tried to do it on the 1000 and it wouldnt do it. There must be a step Im missing.

The only difference is it's easier to set the resolution on the 1000

While holding the note repeat button, you gonna see the list of resolutions at the bottom of the Main screen. Make sure one is selected...

...and press the famous "do it" button lol
