Hi All
Hope you can help

I have my mpc1000 sending midi to my Novation Nova Synth
I have the mpc1000 being triggered to start playing by Ableton Live 6
I can record drum sounds from within the mpc1000 OK, but not great, it seemes badly quantized.
But the midi track is jumping, pausing, just being completley inconsistent.

Surely this kind of stuff is routine?!

I mean I'm not daisy chaining 5000 machines here! This should just work!?

I have mpc1000 on slave (2)
MIDI CLOCK / MMC: ON

I'm using a G5 iMac with Ram maxed out, I've created a chain in my Audio MIDI setup from my 828mkii to a midi device which i've labelled MPC1000

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
