Will this MacBook Pro ram card work for my MPC500?

Hi everybody
I read the sticky post but was not sure about this card. It came with my mac book pro labtop it is a 1gb so dimm ram card. It says samsung on the front and says 2Rx8 PC2 - 5300S - 555 - 12 -E3 then says M470T2953EZ3 - CE6 0827 . I upgraded my labtop ram and it would be great if i could use these on my mpc500. when i read the sticky i dont remember anyone saying that 1GB ram worked.... but its been a while ..
