I wish I could just snap my fingers and have my 1k have the same color scheme as the old beige mpcs...they look way more fresh and futuristic than the blue/red...which is not bad, i just think it would be more inspirational to be that NASA beige...or white...or green...sheesh, looks like i got myself a project!

That would be hard. a green and creme combo.

What, with the getting the dark colors on the light colors and vice-versa?

The old mpc's did look more proffesional. The MPC 1000 is kinda looks like a toy. I love it though nontheless

I wanna know how forat gets black pads on the non-4000 mpc's.

I know this is off topic but could someone link me to a guide on how to paint your mpc?

I don't think theres a tutorial/guide on how to do it. Just attempt to do it yourself.

Do you guys think akai sells the mpc shells it self ?

I think i saw someone on this forum talking about how akai sells the sides for about 14.99 i think. But I doubt they sell the whole shell. That would be hot though.

They might sell the stock ones like they do the 2000xl.
