in the same sequence, is it possible to have track 1 @ 2 bars, track 2 @ 4 bars, track 3 @ 8 bars, etc...? my specific problem is that i have a short drum loop that i want to use & a melody that is way longer than the drum loop. all help is appreciated...thanx.

no... because the bar length doesn't apply to the track... it applies to the actual sequence.

why not just re-trigger your drum loop every few bars to make it fit?

Can you record a longer bar loop then the sample is shorter, then time stretch the sample?
Just got my 1k a few weeks ago so not sure. Let me know what you think

listen to crossings

dingo, unless you are looking for a certain sound that would be achieved by doing that, then you need to do what crossings said, it's much easier too

AITA, track 1: loop your sample, track 2: play your drum loop as many times as needed to fit the sample
