sampling

Hey just geting to grips with my new 1000. Im trying to sample from a c.d but the input is really quiet. Ive got the cd player on full volume any ideas?

is it like a portable CD player....Is it connected to a mixer...do you have the rec gain turned up?

yo, ok, its going straight from mpc to amp rec gain is turned up to the max, not a portable cd player. built in to my amp. wold it be louder through the mixer?

Do you have the MPC set to Analog on the inputs?

Are you sure you have the LINE OUTS of the system to the RECORD in on the MPC?

How exactly do you have it wired?

Are you able to connect to anything else and get audio


Just trying to get a better idea of whats wrong

turn the record gain up and read the manual
