Yeh, I will try and re-slice the those particular kits again with Recycle and then try Bluebox again.

if they play when loaded into the pads then it cant b the cf card as its playin them already from the mpc ram, as it will your sequence.

sounds stupid but check al your output settings and effects on your sequence
are they on polly or mono?

could have maxd out your memory if loads of samples at once?

A lot of corrupted/damaged/faulty files load in perfectly and start giving problems when they're being played back or edited.

Hope you found your solution but for beats sake. There are no irritating or frustating things, you bring that to the table yourself. Yes, you are number 1, in your very personal world, formed of conditions. Remember the deep creation of music is not subject to conditions or rules. Back to beats.

Do the "fart" sound like the start of you sample...but the rest is not played...??

If so...it sounds to me that your Amp Envelope settings are changed under the Program settings.

Check page 67 of the manual for this.
