RIGHT WHEN I TURN ON MY BLACK MPC 1000, IT SOUNDS LIKE THE PADS ARE GETTING HIT WITH NOTE REPEAT BUTTON. AND THAN IT WILL STOP FOR AWHILE AND THAN IT WILL DO THE SAME THING. SOMETIMES WHEN IM JUST PLAYING BACK A SAMPLE SONG THAT IS IN THERE. SOME SOUNDS WOULD START BANGING. ITS REALLY CREEPY. PLEASE DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM OR WHY ITS HAPPENING. I WOULD GREALY APPRECIATE IT

If they have the same pads as the blue models, it could be a glitch (I have a blue model & get double hits from time to time). Maybe one of the sensors under the pads is stuck or shot.

I also start to notice that my recently bought (second hand) MPC 1000 Black version is randomly triggering pads at random moments.

Opened up the MPC and checked all connectors...took them all off and on again but to no avail.

Also saw that i have the old pads....could this be causing this problem...?

Still have to try the velocity trick...but i guess that this won't help that much.

Thanks for the tips modulator... :)

Did the cleaning thing a couple of hours ago...and till now no strange things are happening anymore.
Have to wait and see if it will come back one time or another....else i really have to go for the pads upgrade...
