Message when I try to load something to the memory card

When connected to my PC, I keep getting a message when I try to drag a song onto the mpc drive that says "The directory of file can not be created." I am new to the MPC and i can't find anything about this in the manual. Thanks!

Are u using the card that came with the mpc?
Or are u using a new card?
If ur using a new card u have to format it first
