MPC 1000 HDD and Ram

Got my 1000 on order. I was previously a 2500 user, but went for the 1000 this time.

What RAM and HDD does it take, need to get one on order tonight so it arrives the same time as the 1000.

I was reading through that but most of the HDD's listed are discontinued.

Was trying to find something on Amazon. I don't use eBay and live in the UK. The one I got for my 2500 (when I had it) was from a shop at university. Some old parts they had.

for a hdd you'll want to get an IDE 2.5" hdd.
must be IDE, as SATA has different connectors.
and i think the max size hdd you can use is 120gb

Same as my 2500 basically. Sorry, had to ask incase I ordered the wrong items for the 1000. Pretty much the same then.

160GB is more than enough. I had 20GB on the 2500 and never filled it. Cant wait to get back into this again though. Really missed the MPC.
