Pitch the sample .... but not the speed.

Tried the pitch shift feature today, messed up the sample. Made it sound bitty. Was wondering, apart from using trim>edit>pitch shift , is there any other way to play the sample on a different note, but keep it's speed?

No other way. You could try computer timestretching/pitch shifting, if you need higher quality.

This is basically what patch phrases are all about. Deffinately works better on some things than others...
