Making pads chromatic...

I am trying to use my MPC as m sequencer for everything, including plugins in Pro tools and sounds in Reason, only thing is that what I play is not chromatic, so everything is random. I want to be able to specifically use the MPC as the drum machine for my Redrum to just trigger the sounds.

Can anyone help me make my MPC chromatic?
